<p>Folks…the answer depends on how each student constructs their overall program including electives. My undergrad degree is in Computational Math so some of my “free electives” (if I were pure Math) ended up being Programming Languages, Computational Complexity, Operating Systems and Database Systems.</p>
<p>So maybe I did not take the pure CS courses like Digital Circuits and compiler design.</p>
<p>Well the CS majors did not have to take Numerical Analysis II (maybe NA-I) nor Computational Linear Algebra.</p>
<p>Both groups of students didn’t feel one was harder than the other. We were just in different colleges (CS in Engineering, Comp Math in Science).</p>
