I'm currently a high school senior. I've been admitted to USC, Georgetown, Barnard College of Columbia University, NYU, and Brandeis. I've received my aid for USC (I'm paying about $1500), Georgetown (I'm paying $800), Brandeis (They actually pay me $1000) and Barnard (I'm paying $2400). I am interested in Neuroscience and Astrophysics and maybe Business. I'm not entirely sure yet. Which school is better for these majors? Which city is better for college students? I also want to know what school has a better chance of qualifying me for a job and what are the chances for medical school from all the colleges? I want an unbiased opinion please. Thank you..

Well Brandeis has a good neuroscience program, Columbia has a good physics, and USC has a good business school. You are basically into medical school from any of these schools if you have the GPA & MCAT. NYC is a great city if you don’t wander off into a deserted place late at night. I don’t know much about DC & LA is dangerous if you don’t use common sense. If I had to choose, I’d go to NYU or Barnard (just cuz of the city and schools)
Well that’s my two cents. Sorry if it was no help. Good Luck with your decision though.

ALL of these schools are excellent choices. My doctor went to Brandeis if that’s any help. But I think you should attend the one where you can “see” yourself having the most rewarding experience. In other words, look for fit.

Also, keep in mind that medical schools don’t care which school you went to, all they care about is your GPA, so pick a school were you have the best chance of attaining the highest GPA.
