Harder to get in if you like a popular program?

Is it harder to get into a school if you like one of their more popular programs? More specifically, if I’m interested the entrepreneurship program (BEO) concentration at Brown, will my chances of getting in be lower? Or is this not a significant part of admissions?

Brown does not admit students to a particular concentration. They want a well-rounded class, but they’re not going to “fill up” concentrations as they admit students.

the only programs that would be harder to get into are PLME or RISD dual degree, which aren’t concentrations but degree track options. Even those I don’t think have specific numbers that have a cutoff, but are incredibly selective. I think last year both had a 3% acceptance rate.
