they are all pretty much equal… easiest is probably rutgers… hardest is maybe BU

I would say UF is the hardest to get into (OOS, at least..i don’t know what in-state is like).

i’d say rutgers is easiest

hardest - UF (OOS)
easiest - Rutgers

Percent applicants admitted:

University of Florida 42%
University of Maryland-College Park 47%
Rutgers University 56%
Boston University 59%

So, good question. Most of these schools attract the same types of candidates. I would say that Florida is definitely the toughest, but the easiest depends on where you live.

whered u get those percentages from?

Florida
Test Scores

SAT Critical Reading: 560 - 670 75%

Maryland

Rutgers
Middle 50% of
SAT Critical Reading: 530 - 630 99%

BU

SAT Writing: 590 - 670 93%
ACT Composite: 25 - 30 32%

As you can see, BU has averages that are slightly better than UF’s, yet UF has a much lower acceptance rate. Probably due to the amount of OOS’ers that UF rejects.

I got them from collegeboard.com. These percentages and the same numbers about mean test scores can be found on that site and can save people countless hours such as asking questions such as these on a messageboard.

For difficulty, you have to consider the % of students that are in/out of state. In-state admissions are often a lot easier…
