Hardest Ap class at you school?

APUSH. The teacher only gave out 3 As in 3 classes.
The second hardest is considered to be AP Chemistry, and I am taking it next year.

Is APUSH mostly just projects?

Calc BC, only 8 students a year out of a school of 1500+ take it. About half get A’s though, but they still work extremely hard for them. Of the 8 kids that take the class 7/8 get 5’s

Definitely AP Chem but only because the teachers dont even know how to teach in the first place and the work is quite demanding overall

Hopefully I do well in the class next year

yup.

depends on the teacher. not at my school. you should probably ask the upperclassmen about this

AP Euro History and AP Chemistry are our hardest classes

AP Physics B and C are supposed to be the hardest. AP Chem, Calc BC, and Euro are also up there. Not taking any of them.

APUSH. Only a couple A’s have been given out in almost a decade. Taking it next year.

AP Chem, definitely. I’m taking it now and got a B first semester.

Calc is pretty difficult too.

APUSH and AP Chemistry, most definitely.

Is AP Chemistry easier if you had taken chemistry honors the year before?

AP Calc is definitely the hardest at my school. AP Chem is difficult but the teacher is great. I took APUSH last year and the class was a joke! The teacher was insanely easy though - no due dates, most points were completion, and she gave us the answers to every test. I wish she had been harder though, I only got a 3 on the AP exam.

AP Euro…it’s mostly seniors who take it, and although the teacher is wonderful, she simply does not let up in second semester. AP Chem is up there too.

LOL all these Ap Cal/Ap Chems would make the most sense to be the hardest class…Not at my school, its Ap World History. Which is funny because of how many people on here considered it a easier ap class. Im sure it is becuase my school has like a 90+% of stundents who pass with a 3 or higher but its only becuase the teacher is extremely difficult.

Almost all of us are in the top of our class but only 5/20 people passed the first semester. I got a C >_>. It got/is getting so bad that some kids are having mental breakdowns…

My AP Language teacher at my school has a reputation of being a slave driver and a really hard grader. I believe only 3 people have gotten A’s in her class.
One of them was me : ) lol pretentious much?

The hardest is AP United States History & Seminar, next to that is AP Physics C

AP Chem is so hard at our school that the administration mandates that 85% and higher is an A, 75% and higher is a B, etc.

And yet, only a few come out with A’s…

At my school, APUSH is by far the most homework of any class, but most stuff is graded for completion and it’s really easy to get an A in the class.

We have AP Physics C: Mechanics, which is the hardest legitimate AP class (our teacher does a bunch of multivariable calculus stuff that isn’t on the test).

After our Mechanics course is a “Physics III” course that partly follows the AP Physics C: E&M curriculum, but goes off onto more advanced topics and isn’t focused on preparing for the exam (most kids don’t take it). It is by far the hardest class in the school but isn’t technically an official AP class.

My school only has a few APs, but from what I can tell APUSH is the hardest and is certainly the most time consuming. That, however, might have something to do with it being the first real fact-based AP class students at my school take (it’s common as a sophomore) so they’re learning new study skills that suite the breadth of the APUSH curriculum…and it’s just a killer class.

Probably APUSH, AP Euro or AP Psych…AP Bio is really hard depending on the teacher you get
