Hardest AP class you took?

Easiest: APUSH. 99 unweighted average. Got 98s and 100s on majority of exams.

Hardest: Physics. Got 70s on majority of exams. Didn’t get a single score above a 90 on any exam.

Personally, AP Chem was really difficult for me, but AP Physics C probably has the hardest material. What really matters is that you have a good teacher. I hear people complain about APUSH, but I had an amazing teacher and I pulled off a 4 even though I hate history.

Believe it or not, AP environmental science is as hard as if not harder than AP bio at my school, mainly because of the teacher. He tests on the most obscure points ever and wastes so much class time. Many have a C and even the 2400 SAT kid is struggling.
The next hardest would be AP chem for me.
easiest would be AP world. the study guides were essentially exact copies of the tests.

Hardest - Precalculus (yes, it’s not an AP class but it’s harder than APWH :P)
Easiest - AP World History

AP World is such an interesting class and I’m sad that the class is ending in a month. The homework was brutal but the tests were super easy and the essays were of average difficulty. Although the class itself was a bit slow (documents every period for 1.5 hours), the material is fascinating and reading the book was heaven~!

On the other hand, Precalculus made me cry countless times this semester. The first semester was a review of Algebra 2 and was really easy, but the new trigonometry and polar/parametrics/vectors concepts made me die.

Hardest: AP Human Geography

You’re judging me, aren’t you?

I’m a freshman. APHG is also the easiest AP I’ve taken. APHG is also the only AP I’ve taken.

I am taking AP Physics and Euro. AP Euro is much harder in my opinion.

So every AP I’ve taken has been pretty hard (I’ve only taken 3)

APUSH - All my teacher did was tell stories about how he smoked a fern and pushed people down hills. Although he did prepare us a little for the AP test, he completely screwed us when he said they’re wouldn’t be an essay on the last 5 chapters of the book. There was, and it was the reason I got a 2.

AP Chem - Got an 85% first semester, mainly because I got a 94% on the midterm, and an 88% second semester (50% on the final, but she hasn’t curved it yet). We also only have 1 test in this marking period and I got a 90% on it. I wouldn’t say this class is too hard, but it can be confusing and there is a whole bunch of information that you need too know. I guess I haven’t really grasped the concept that you can’t memorize much in chem, you have to understand it.

AP Calc AB - Easily the hardest AP I’ve taken so far (God help me next year for BC), It’s just the concepts are hard to understand (Some more than others cough story problems cough). But I guess math in general is pretty hard because if you get a single the wrong, the entire problem is wrong too.

This year I’m taking AP Human Geography and AP Computer Science. I find both pretty easy. Next year I’ll be taking AP Calc AB and AP World History. I’m terrified to take history, as it has a horrible reputation at my school! :-/

I guess Math II Honors. I’ve never been a math person and the tests and quizzes are difficult. I always have a borderline A so I’m really worried for the math final, it’s probably going to kill my grade

ive only taken APHUG, AP psych, and AP world so far. out of the 3, world is the hardest. during class, world is extremely easy (97+ A all year, and I’ve only gotten A’s on tests), but I’m really starting to stress over the exam. our teacher taught us in a weird order and I’m really hoping crash course can help me prepare, because I am most certainly not.
any advice for studying? is crash course good enough?

@adiacs, this is AP :frowning:

@IrrationalPepsi Oh I forgot about that :)) I haven’t taken any APs yet anyway

I haven’t taken any but from what I’ve heard AP Physics C seems to be the hardest and either APES or AP Stat seems to be the easiest, at my school

I’ve taken APUSH, WHAP, AP lang, APES. I think the hardest was APUSH.

BC Calc… thank god that test is behind us

AP Physics C. Nuff said

From Hardest to Easiest with what I have taken

  1. AP Calc A/B, thank god I’m not taking BC next year
  2. APUSH- I basically devoted my entire academic calendar to this class, but the test ended up being super easy compared to what I thought it was going to be.
  3. AP World- Similar to APUSH, had to dedicate alot of time to it
  4. AP Stat- This class at our school is either a love it or hate it scenario, no in between
  5. AP Environmental- by far my favorite class, maybe I just thought it was really easy because of my interest in the material, since many at my school found it to be one of the harder ones.
  6. AP Language/Composition- This depends really on if you are a English person or not, it just came naturally to me

AP Chemistry. Thank goodness it’s over.

Hardest to easiest (in terms of class and test difficulty combined):

  1. AP Chemistry
  2. AP Human Geography
  3. AP World History
  4. AP Psychology
  5. AP U.S. History
  6. AP English Language & Composition

hardest- spanish
easiest- bc calc

Hardest to Easiest:

  1. Spanish
  2. Macroeconomics
  3. Physics 1
  4. Physics C Mechanics
  5. English Lit
  6. APUSH
  7. English Lang
  8. Gov/Pol
  9. Comp Sci
  10. Statistics
  11. Physics C E&M
  12. BC Calc

Why do people who take AP chemistry say is the hardest? I found general chemistry 1 a joke.
