for those who have taken or will be taking AP French, how did you do on the exam and did you enjoy the course generally? i've studied french for 6 years now and i really like the language plus i'm among the top students of my grade in french (in advanced french 11).

i've heard it's the hardest AP exam out there, so i'm a little intimidated. i'm not coming from an immersion program, so will i be able to do well in AP French?

I took it and got a 3. I wish i'd done better. French AP takers are at a disadvantage from the other languages, something about us having to do these really difficult fill ins that the other languages don't have. Overall, i didnt think it was that bad, its way easier than the barrons practice tests.

Got a 3. I'm not stupid but I'm no French scholar. You should be fine with all the Frech you've taken. Just take a couple old exams and you'll do okay.

This isn't the hardest AP exam, IMO. Chemistry, Physics, or Calc probably is(then again, I'm not exactly a math/science person).

im taking it this year but my brother took it last year.. he was pretty good at french and studied hard and he got a 3. there were 15 kids in his class and only one got a 5. they all complained that it was impossible

ap langauge exams tend to be pretty hard, not in terms of the test, but the curve. The ap french test is the most common not be taken at my school, and no one in the top 10 people from 2003 took the ap french exam (7 people I think)

for anyone thats in ap french now... is your class just a ridiculous amount of work, because this is the one class that i just feel like the teacher uses every single second to teach us anything possible and then sends us home with three grammer packets and a 5 page short story to read and answer questions on.
