whoops, I forgot the second reason why AB is harder than BC, but I forgot, so oh well! Maybe it's because everyone loves Mr. Poska (the BC teacher) more than the AB teachers

AP lit. The teacher is sort of weird and arbitrary in some sense. His tests and essays are very strange.

AP bio is considered the heaviest workload at our school, but the hardest class is generally known as sophomore year Honors English. Why? Insane workload. Kids come back and tell our teacher that college English was a breeze after that. AP Econ (Mac/Mic) used to be considered the hardest, but our amazing teacher retired and it's no longer so prestigious at our school. AP English or our AP US Gov/AP Comp Gov. pairing is considered the easiest AP; Eng partly because of the Soph. class and Gov because the teachers are laid back and it is a senior-only class.

yeah, definitely bio in mine too. The teacher piles on all the homework, but people do well on the exam, so I guess it's effective...

hah bio is considered really easy for us because the teacher is somewhat... shady? all you have to do is memorize stuff for his tests. the workload is manageable.

oh, and if you surveyed everyone in ap comp sci, they'd say it's the hardest ap. mostly because the people who take it in my school aren't the kind of people who would take any other ap's. and the teacher doesn't teach. i had hearts, xanga (a song was playing), and myspace open one time. he came to check that i was doing my work. i skillfully - if i may say so myself - opened the BlueJ window (it wasn't even maximized!) right in front of him, found out the program was freezing, crl+alt+del-ed it, minimized xanga, myspace, and hearts - in that order, opened BlueJ, and continued to work. then he said "keep up the good work" and wandered off somewhere else.

i'm going to miss that class.

AP Physics B and AP Computer Science for difficulty
AP Bio and APUSH for workload
