hardest = calculus. hands down. i'm not a math person. funny, at elementary school (public) i was top of my grade in math, but at my competitive high school, i struggle to be average in math.

favourite = almost every other class! i want to say drama, but i don't like my teacher this year very much. philo's quite good. politics is pretty good too. oh, and english of course! gotta love it. you can see i tend towards the social sciences/humanities.

My hardest class was supposed to be IB Math HL, but oddly enough, after three years of dreading it and hearing seniors' horror stories about it, it's not bad! Ironically, my worst grade is in Biology. I say ironically because I already took the AP test and scored a 5, I'm taking it SL for biology, and it's my extra science with physics being my primary one. And of course Biology is jeapordizing my sanity because grades are easy to let slip but hard to bring up. I miss my biology teacher...she had a baby, so we have a long-term substitute. More irony (baby/bio) or at least amusing parallels?

hardest: probably geometry, even though we talk about nothing all class and get no homework but that's specifically why it's so hard if you don't have ability
favorites: Latin (but we're still reading adapted apuleius, wow) and ap bio (I thought I wouldn't like it but I really do)

My hardest is french, because it's so easy that I have a hard time making myself do the work. Plus, the teacher...well, let's just say that she makes us write politically loaded essays in french (with no notice, so we can't do research first), and then grades us down if we don't agree with her. Which I don't, if only because I think it's wrong that she's so biased.

My favorite...calculus. It's the first time since algebra I I've hit a sort of math that's so logical and fundamental and gorgeous. The class goes slowly, which can be incredibly incredibly incredibly frustrating, but when I get caught up in the math I love it soooooooooo much.

Favorite--AP Lit/Lang: I love the reading/discussion...though tough
Hardest--AP Chem: Teacher lets you slack off early on, and you end up screwed

Grade-wise, the hardest class I have is AP/UCONN English, but the teacher is great and I'm having a lot of fun, so I don't care anymore. I squeezed in an A- and I'm happy for that. (Oh noes, an A-! I hope Harvard doesn't see that!)

AP Calculus is the hardest class to pay attention in, because I already know everything we're doing and the teacher sucks. So, I end up goofing off with my friend Steve most of the time. I'm studying Calc BC and analysis on the side, so I'm still learning stuff. It's all good.

Oh, and the hardest to learn is AP Physics C, an independent study. Over the summer, I taught myself the whole Mechanics section. But look at me now - four months of school and I'm two chapters into E&M. Damned Senioritis.

Toughest:Integral Calculus. It's so vast and there are a milion different variations of problems!
Favourite:Microeconomics. Its subtle and easy as hell if you know your basics.I know it's kinda odd that I'm not good at calc,an essential tool for Eco,but still enjoy Micro, but then I've always had something against math.

dont worry too much about AP physics C guys. the AP is like...you get half the questions right and you end up with a 5/5. i basically skipped a free response and still got 5/5.
