Hardest Part Of The Jan Sat

did anyone think that copying the consent form in CURSIVE (which is what our proctor told us to do) was impossible! It took me like 5 mins to copy 1 sentence. sheesh!

haha, our proctor was cool and told us we could print it, but on the Dec one our proctor forced us to write in cursive (which took me a while to do)

our proctor also told us to copy in cursive... took me forever with my less-than-sharp pencil

... wait were we suppose to do that in cursive? Our proctor just said copy it over...

This time, I had a proctor that was doing this for the first time. I had to tell him to give us one minute warnings, and I had to tell him why we needed our admission ticket still when he told us to put it away. He was basically stupid. I had a lot of idiots in the same room as me, farting and stomach's repeatedly growling. Not just one person's stomach, but probably over half the people. And our proctor told us to not print but to just write in our own, everyday handwriting. Ignoring his tip, I went ahead and wrote it in cursive since I had known from previous experience. SAT Veteran Dummy am I!

lol, i had a similar experience. The proctor just told us to copy the sentence, but i KNEW we had to write in cursive. So after someone pointed out that we can't print, almost everyone in the room complained, erased what they wrote, and wrote it again. Except for me of course (haha sucka!).

writing in cursive is such an anachronism. sigh

Would it really matter if it was in cursive or not?

Probably not. If you think about it there's probably tens of thousands of kids who printed it, would they all have their scores cancelled or something? It's just to make sure that you're the actual person taking the test and will only be used to compare handwriting with the essay during an investigation (at least that's what our proctor said)

^but what if I wrote in printed handwriting for the essay, but wrote cursive for the statement? those two handwritings are different BY A MILE in my case

I used to write in cursive and I actually write faster, although messy, in cursive. I had no problem copying the statement.

this is a noob question but what is the Q and A service? i got it, but i dont know what it does... lol

Q and A is when you pay CB to send you a copy of the test you took I think, without the experimental section.

Okay well besides the copying of the consent form in cursive, which wasn't a problem for me-- I'm supa fast writing in cursive, I'd say the writing section freaked me out the most and that was what I really practiced on, too.

oh! so do you actually get the questions, too? you get to see the choices and passages etc??

^ Yep. 10char
