Hardest SAT Math Question Ever….

<p>The answer is unquestionably D. I’ve done it twice now and got the same answer.
I should be: Area semicircle (1/2 x pii x radius squared) - Area triangle (1/2 x base x height).
Your teacher must have it wrong, and sometimes there are gliches in the printing of answer books - it’s happened several times to me.

<p>The book forgot to cut the area of the circle in half. The full circle would be 25pi because the raidus is 5… but a semi circle is 12.5pi minus the area of the triangle, which is 24.</p>

<p>That’s frustrating when books have glaring errors in them. Sorry!</p>

<p>yeah it’s D. And that’s certainly not the hardest math question on the SAT.</p>
