<p>can everyone pitch in and say what SAT test date they found the hardest?
Even in the blue book, which ones are the hardest.. I wanna do a hard test today to wrap all the prac tests up.. Don't want to do barron's tho as not to get demoralized :(
So which of the past papers do guys find the toughest??

<p>One SAT is never going to be super-difficult on all sections. It is not designed that way. Also, remember that every question on the test has been sat before by other students (in the extra section, it’s not just used for calculating the curve), and assigned a difficulty. Then the test is given a certain number of questions from each difficulty bracket. Any difference in difficulty between two SATs would be marginal. The exception is the last 7 tests in the blue book. These are purely fabricated. I would recommend real past tests (the first 3 in the blue book) so close to the date.</p>
<p>The only variable is your preparedness. If you’re thrown a vocab word you don’t know, it will seem more difficult. If it’s an essay topic you don’t have many examples for, it will seem more difficult.</p>
<p>Also, I wouldn’t recommend doing any company tests this close to the date. Stick with Collegeboard.</p>

<p>is there such a data? my son took it once, 10/11. he was super happy with the outcome. to my knowledge, his score was in the top 3 in our school district. (no one got 2400). one year later, there were 10 2400s in the 10/12 test, just in his HS.</p>
