thnx.

In some ways CAS, in other ways, Hotel.

In some ways, all of them, except cals (in general) is probably not the hardest by any means, minus a few majors.

CAS and engineering only

Engineering: 36% admit rate and 38% yield

Hotel: 23% admit rate and 84.3% yield

CAS: 20% admit rate, 39.1% yield

Well i said all of them in some ways because very few engineering people would get into architecture. one of the biggest things about cornell admission is going for the program that you're best suited for.

but bare in mind that engineering applicants are of the highest calibre in terms of statistic because they are usually self-selected....in other words... an engineering student would look at the statistic and requirement and knows that he doesnt stand a chance and simply not apply...this explains for the highest SAT and GPA average yet the highest acceptance rate of the school of engineering

for 2006

i think architecture is the hardest...

1 out of every 9 students were admitted into the arch program

arch. is hardest percentage wise, but easiest scores wise. Very few arch. students would have scores that could get them into another school at Cornell.

well yes since thats not what the arch school is looking for, they dont want geeks the want creative people :p
