Well I mean not for me... but what I am saying is that that was some damn hard vocab (for the first one it had words like irrepressible and solitary). I think we can expect a decent curve. passages were harder than oct.

lol the passages/vocab for my test was a lot easier, but CB is supposed to "equalize" the two versions of the test, so I have no idea how the curve will go down this time

i agree vocab was way harder than any practise test i ever took, passages weren't too bad. praying for a generous curve here.

was the oct curve for cr harsh?

No it was generous. I was expecting 670-680. Got a 710. But dasani i dont think they curve it together. I think its different for each test.

the vocab was extremely difficult.. hardest ive seen

I spose they are trying to take CR back to its older roots. Hard vocab and semi-easy to medium passages.

what were some hard words on the test?

i thought the vocab was a joke...

MD, I had your test version and I really didn't even spend more than 5 minutes on them...what was that question though, with "mawkishness" or something? and it had opacity and fervor as answer choices also?

mawkishness was aboutt he publishers turning down the book because it was too complex... speaking of publishers on our test version dasani, what was the one about the african american poet winning the nobel prize for poetry ";publishing many novels." or something like that was what i chose.

was mawkishness the choice? i had no idea what it meant.

oh, yeah your last one was a writing grammar one right? I put the answer:

;in addition to her poems, publishing many novels

i think it was the only one that made sense grammatically, so yeah, same thing you did.

complex=opacity

I chose opacity but

The property of paper that minimizes the "show-through" of printing from the back side or the next sheet.
www.clearprintpaperco.com/media/glossary.html

it doesn't really make sense according to google's definition

opacity is the quality of being opaque
opaque:not clearly understood or expressed= complex

i think i got it right...

opacity. this was one of the questions in either a practice exam or the may sat. like word for word.

i think so too, so we're good, there's more than 1 definition.

yeahh i already got 4 wrong from the sentence completions alone
this sucks

Opacity. .
