Okay, so after chillin out at a restaurant until 12AM, me and a couple buddies (2 UC berekely prospective, a UCLA prospective, and me, a UCI prospective, all 17 years of age) decided to go to the local elementary school to talk about old times. just for the sake of reminiscing... we're having a great time, talking about our past, olllld crushes, experiences, girls... just 17 year old talk. This is a VERY safe neighborhood okay. its a san jose school, very low crime rates. suddenly... we hear VOICES. we're like, '****'. we're conjuring up scenarios.... it sounded like a girll... what if it was a girl with a mutilated face with a knife dripping blood that ran toward us? we were freakin out! so then, OUT OF NOWHERE, A FLASHLIGHT COMES ON and shines it in our face. we FLIP. we're just standing there ready to fight (there were 4 of us all pretty athletic; ones judo, im cross-country/swimming, other track&Field MVP, and the other boxes). It turns out it was a COP. he explains to us that there had been break-ins in the school, and he wanted us to come with him. *note: we're VERY LAW ABIDING, i mean cmon, look at the schools we got into. we're also chinese. we dont do crime. its not our stuff. he leads ups to more cops. so one of them asks us whos car it was parked in the parking lot. it was mine. at this point im SORT of chill becasue we hadnt dome anything wrong. no weapons, no drugs, no drinks, no stolen merchandise, ZIP. he asks us to lean agianst the car, and asks for ID. we give it to him. he asks us if we have weapons, pot, drinks... etc. we say no, cos we didnt. the first guy comes back and reports that 'everything is in order.' then he takes down our contact information and tells us to go home.

Now, im pretty damn concerned about a few things, and would MOST GLADLY APPRECIATE IT if you guys gave me sound feedback, cos i cant sleep without knowing this. last time i talked to a cop was when i was like 5, cos my neighbor's house got broken into.

1.) I asked him if it would go on our record, he didnt explicity say 'no' but he said that 'if everything is in order you guys should be fine.'

2.) i've had my drivers license for over a year. two years, i think. Now, is it legal for me to carry minors after the hours of 12AM?

3.) if they find nothing, then i won't be contacted, right?

4.) if we're minors, shouldn't we have gotten a citation for being past curfew?

THX

*just to clarify, we're on spring break. we stay up late at night :P
