p.s. someone will die in the 6th book (not Harry)

Ah, see, I knew someone was going to die. I told someone that someone was going to die in this book, but she told me that was the 5th book. By the way, this is the last book, right?

no there will be a 7th book and that will be the last book.

I'm so excited! And the movie's out in November!

oh and by the way, someone also died in the 5th book as well

I am totally psyched! I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan! I got my sister, dad, and sophomore English teacher hooked on them too. Each one took a lot of persuasion to get them to read the first, but after they did, they were hooked!

Sweet! I want to preorder it...it's 40% off ($17.99) for preorders at barnesandnoble.com and amazon.com, not counting shipping.

:)

I love HP! I went to this thing at Barnes and Noble which was a party when the last book came out. I think they need to release books more often! I'm definitely going to re-read all the old ones b4 #6 comes out, so it'll be fresh in my mind.

juba2jive, just buy something else to put you over $25 and shipping is free at amazon.

WOW! I'm in such a good mood now. July 17th, I can't wait. I'll be done reading it half-way through the 18th.

anybody heard of a library? why buy books when u can buy drugs?

jk

ya u can get it at a library after at least a month though (libraries get a lot of copies but obviously those get borrowed out very quickly)

gee, so close to the end.....

Cool beans! :D And wow... I remember I read my first HP book at age 12. Harry Potter has been a big part of my adolescence.

my grade has been about the same age as the character everytime new books come out

I always request books at the library- works perfectly. I can get a lot more books from any library in the county or even state.

Any guesses as to who dies? My prediction: one of the Weasley brothers. Would prefer it to be Percy, but will probably be Charilie or the other older one (not one of the twins!)

Hmm... that is a good guess- I'd say maybe a professor again, or a member of Harry's muggle family. pure guesses.

Hello, all you fellow Harry fans! YAY! I got the news today as well (in an email by Barnes & Noble). Have any of ya'll gone on JK Rowling's official site? It's awesome! (<a href="http://www.jkrowling.com%5B/url%5D">www.jkrowling.com</a>) I'm excited about the new book although I think some of the "magic" has worn off (it has been nearly 2 years since the 5th book came out, so I've kind of lost that "crazed fan" excitement). However, I absolutely LOVE Harry in the movies! (Haha, that Daniel Radcliffe is so cute!)

Funny thing: I placed a hold on HBP today at my library....but there are already 170 people ahead of me....
