What do you think: did you know Snape was good, that Harry was the last Horcrux? Were you surprised by who died; did you think that more "main" characters would (Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Hagrid, etc.) Whose death did you cry most over? Was it the best (or sometimes, worst) book, in your opinion?

it's probably bad of me to say it, but I wish that more really important characters had died (like one of the trio).
I mean, I was sad about Lupin because he'd just had a son, but I was never that attached to Tonks.
Fred dying was the saddest. bad things shouldn't happen to funny people...

... i wasn't trying to be funny...
but, i mean, seriously, it's so much more shocking when something like that happens to the comedian. fred and george were always invincible...

i think dobby's and fred's was the saddest. i was soooo surprised that harry was the last horcrux...
i definitely thought that more main characters would die, especially one of the trio, and hagrid. although its good that they didnt die.

i understand what you're saying, MBP. it's just weird how you put it. you know, like only boring people should die. but seriously, i get what you're saying; fred's death WAS a shock.

I expected that Harry would die, to stave off future unauthorized sequels, and to have a better ending, but this was ok, too. I thought that Snape was evil, so I didn't have many right guesses about this book.

I knew Snape was evil and I knew that Dung had taken the locket from Grimmauld Place (so happy I was right about that one!) but I was shocked by Dobby's death. What warmed it though, was that Kreacher became nicer and loyal to Harry. I think I would have cried over Fred's death had I not been sitting in a packed cafeteria at the time. One of the reasons I sobbed for Dobby was because it was at night. The other deaths happened too quick to shock me.
