JKR already said that Arthur wont be the new Minister. thats the only thing I see wrong with yours.. Everything else looks fine, but I dont like H/G or R/H so I hope your 3 and 4 are wrong..

maybe Hagrid will be the half-blood prince..wouldnt that be awkward? I cant say I would be sad if he died either.

Religioncauseswar, its quite obviously not a series for young kids. Everyone on here is probably in high school, and I don't think that qualifies them as young kids. Secondly, the characters in the book are high school age. But the book is meant for "young kids", right? Attacking people over what they read is really grown up, too.

religioncauseswar - In case you haven't noticed, the books have become increasingly dark and turbulent for the "young kids" age range, and more and more adults have joined the already large fan base.

Yeah, and it's definitely not a series for "young kids". The people who I see liking the book the MOST are high school and some college students. I've now gotten my parents, aunts, sophomore English teacher (who swore he'd never read the books), and other various adults to read the books, and all of them LOVED them! I bet you haven't even given the books a chance, religioncauseswar

"Why do people care about this book so much."

And why should we care about what you have to say? You're just some fifteen year old condescendingly telling US to grow up. Like we give a beep about whatever you have to say.

"The Harry Potter seris is for young kids."

Dude, I know young kids who can at least spell "series" correctly.

And they're not just for young kids. Why do you think English publishers created a plainer, more discrete cover for Harry Potter books? So interested ADULTS could read and enjoy them without worrying close-minded people like you would get in their faces and whine that it's just some kiddie book.

"GROW UP!"

How about: SHUT UP!

What do you read, by the way? Is it all 600 page, classic tomes for you, Mr. I-Think-I'm-So-Darn-Mature? Don't make me laugh.

1- hagrid, though i'd rather not, he's kinda boring (DONT HIT ME!!!!)
2- dumbly (please no!)
3- me<3
4- i wouldnt mind
5- someone named Tim-Bob haha

I have an idea about the HP series. I think it's like it was meant to evolve from a children's book to an adult's book as the characters evolve. It works perfectly for people our age because most of us have always read the book when we were around the same age as the characters and thus the intended audience. It really is like we are growing up with not only the characters, but also the maturity level too. If you read the sorcerer's stone and the order of the pheonix, you will find the depth and level very different.

1) Not sure...I remember predicting Hadgrid or Godric Gryffindor...but I doubt I'll be right.
2) Dumbledore...that's the word on the street.
3) Luna or Ginny.
4) They'll hit it off.
5) Some new character.

Dean Thomas

I hope it's not Dumbledore, but with that back cover, I think that's what I'd have to predict.

If he has one, I'm going with Parvati or Luna. I don't think it's Ginny, because she started dating Dean at the end of Book 5, and if he's the Half-Blood Prince, then it'll give them both relatively large roles in the new book.

More awkwardness and dropped hints, but not until Book 7.

Most likely someone mentioned or with a minor role in previous books, not a major character.
