Hi I am on here looking for advice on what I would need to do in order to get accepted into the 2 + 2 program. I am currently a junior at UCLA majoring in Psychology, and currently have a 3.6 GPA, (but it might become lower because of recent grades eeek!) I am also taking a GMAT prep course this spring to take before the summer before the application is due. I have transferred to UCLA from a CC this year so lately I have not yet engaged in alot of EC's or community service but would like to this spring quarter and the summer. I have great recommendations, most of them being from previous employers and faculty. I have alot of work experience as well as past awards and recognitions. I just wanted to see if anyone on here knows what the average GPA or GMAT score would suffice to have a good chance of getting accepted into the 2+2 program!!! Thank you

I felt the same way. If you look at the FAQ section of the HBS 2+2 Program website, it says that due to difficulties assessing different GPA's there is no average. I think that they exclude this information not only because of their aim to attract as many applicants as possible but also because they're interested in engineering majors who typically have lower GPA's. As for the GMAT, the website says that the median is between a 700-720, but that they have no rigid cut-offs. Here's the link: FAQ - MBA - Harvard Business School

That still doesn't provide much in the way of answering who got accepted, though. I've been trying to obtain as much information as possible, but have been striking out. I'm a sophomore at Notre Dame and strongly considering the 2+2 Program but I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I get my hopes up and, more importantly, spend time and money preparing for the GMAT. Let me know how the process goes and feel free to send me a PM thing.

Also, there has been some discussion about HBS 2+2 in the Business School-MBA section of this site. The section of the site that we're posting in is actually for Harvard Undergrads. Just letting you know.

Where is the Business School-MBA section of the site, I can’t seem to find it? Thanks

Does being a business undergrad hurt my chances of getting into the 2+2 program?

2+2 program is not really looking for business focused people. They want people who would have otherwise never considered a career in business to take a chance with them. That’s why the vast majority of the the acceptances are engineering/science majors.

I know someone who had a low 700, majored in economics-mathematics, and got into the final round interviews for the 2+2 program. she had full intention to do business in the future.

Do you think I stand a pretty decent chance if I major in accounting ??
