Harvard 2+2 Program Ending

Hello,

I am a 1999 Harvard Alumni and my son is currently at Harvard for his undergraduate studies, and was planning to attend Harvard Business School through the 2+2 program. However, a friend of mine who graduated with me from Harvard, and is now serving on the board of directors told me the HBS 2+2 program would be in its final stages in the upcoming years. Meaning it would be futile to apply to the program in 2014 or later because the Harvard 2+2 program would cease.

I was wondering what some of your plans were for business school, as my son now needs other options besides HBS 2+2 after his undergraduate program.

If you’re a 1999 graduate when was your son born? That was 13 years ago so if your son is currently a freshman and 18 years old you would have been a father at ~17 or if your son is currently a senior you would have been ~13 when your son was born - this sounds a little fishy.

Unless my numbers are whacked you might be ■■■■■.

Also given you only have ONE post copied three different times on CC I can confidently call you a ■■■■■. And why would someone who is a Harvard grad be asking the question about other plans for his son because the 2+2 program is going away? Lame!

If you have an honest question and need help be upfront and don’t play games. There are a lot of people who would genuinely help.

“A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool”

My son is adopted. I am simply looking for more options.

He can apply to HBS as a during his college senior year as a normal MBA applicant. Or he can work for two years, as is usually encouraged by B-schools, and then apply to the MBA program.

…so now Harvard students can’t put 2 and 2 together??

Sorry, had to.

A Harvard grad from 1999 needs to use this forum to figure out other option because 2+2 is discontinued? Come on buddy don’t be lame you’re simply a ■■■■■ who can’t be straight up.
