Right, tomorrow is Ivy Day
Does the applicant portal give any indication of when the application is being reviewed? For Cornell it says that the application and materials have been sent for review, is it the same for Harvard?

Has anyone been informed to interview? I am an international applicant studying outside US and was emailed today by an alumni for interview. Any idea what that means?
I just got emailed today about an alumni interview and I was wondering the same thing!
Iāve read a lot of times from many posts here in CC that it typically means they may need more information about you. Not necessarily a good or a bad thing though. Majority of times transfer students donāt get interviews unless Harvard needs some kind of clarification or more details on the application submitted.
For those who were emailed about interviews, did those emails come from Harvard or from the alumnus themselves? Also, were any of you guys interviewed for freshman admission?
Sent the mid-term report late thanks to school closings (and bomb threats, my god) so I was held up but itās all sorted outāclose to a 4.0 (so close but not quite) so hopefully thatāll help out
Sorry to be a nuisance to this thread, but Harvard has yet to receive my College Report (which I have requested be sent about 5 times nowā¦) so will that be a big issue? I applied last year as a freshman, so I assume theyāve still got an old College Report, and they already have everything else that actually matters. When should I expect the āsorry we canāt consider your application completeā email? Or will they decide to be bros and let me slide? hahaha, Iām hopeless.
@AtBestBuffalo I didnāt apply for freshman admission. I got contacted by the alum.
Hello all.
I am a fellow Harvard Fall 2016 transfer applicant. I have submitted all required documents. I am coming from a four-year public university in VA. Also I am a military veteran (Am I the only one on this thread?)
Unlike some of the other applicants, I have not received an email to interview.
Good luck to all and hopefully we receive our decisions soon.
@Systema best of luck to you! I didnāt get an interview either so youāre not alone, from what Iāve read it in of itself is not a bad or good thingājust another opportunity to sell yourself
@Systema are you from UVA or W&M?
Also I uploaded my midterm report from the Harvard portal, is this acceptable? They havenāt gotten back to me from email at all.
It is actually normal and common to not get an interview. They only do interviews for transfer students if they need more insight on you application. Besides, interviews are apparently not the deal breaker since the majority of the accepted applicants do not get an interview at all. And plenty of people with interviews still get rejected, I wouldnāt worry about it.
@BatWonder77 Actually Iām coming from ODU. Itās a local university in Norfolk. Iām currently on Active Duty stationed in the Hampton Road area. Will be out of the service by the time Fall semester begins.
Hey @Systema - are you Navy? I attend a service academy so I am technically considered active duty/military, but obviously I donāt consider myself a veteran.
@kbe0282 Yes I am Navy enlisted. I went to ODU while on active duty. My track record in college is unorthodox at best so Iām sure my odds at receiving acceptance at Harvard are very low. However I would never forgive myself if I didnāt apply.
Which academy are you attending now?
@Jacob4815162342 did you ever get your college report checked out? Decisions are probably coming out mid May and by now everything should be checked off.
What is the transfer acceptance rate at Harvard? On Google, it stays that itās 1.6%ā¦???
12 out of 1,000+
@Systema The Naval Academy itās good to see fellow Navy personnel on this forum!
Anyone else nervous?
