I heard that Harvard does not care about nationalities of students. They purely look at the applicants' stats, and decide who's in or out without taking their nationality into account. Is this really true? At our city, we had an Ivy League info session, to which all the reps from the ivies came and gave a presentation. I acutally asked the Harvard rep and she told me that there was no discrimination, but I would like to know if it is actually true or not.

No, it is not true in that Harvard wants all kinds of diversity. That means that adcoms want to select a class with a wide variety of countries, regions of the US, races, religions, etc.

It is true, though, that Harvard lacks a policy of rejecting students because the university doesn't want to have people of those students' ethnicity or nationality on campus.

No, there is no "discrimination," but understand that there is a fine line between discrimination and "want[ing] to select a class with a wide variety of countries, regions of the US, races, religions, etc." as just aforementioned.
