Harvard All The Way!

Maybe it was hard, did you ever think of that. I know what you're saying...but the reality is that somethings are harder than others. Basic...that is like Spanish I, not III...

alright, think of it this way,

there will be thousands upon thousands of students who will apply to Harvard with GPAs of 4.0 (UW) and 4.6(W), With 2200+ scores on the SAT and 34+ scores on the ACT, who are president of thier class, president of NHS, nationally ranked musicions, etc. Basically many of these people will be perfect with astounding essays, recommendations, grades, scores, and ecs. Yet, many of these people still get rejected because there just isn't enough room for all of them.

I had a friend last year who
GPA: 4.0 (UW) 4.54 (W)
SATI: 1600 (CR 800, M 800)
SATII: Spanish 800, UShistory 780, Math IIC 800, writing 800, physics 760
ACT: 35
Was president of National Honor society
was president of her class
Won numerous state 1st places including science symposium and violin contests
She had over 500+ hours of community service
etc.
etc.

SHE GOT REJECTED!!!

What I'm saying is that Harvard if VERY selective. I'm sorry to say, your chances of getting in isn't very good, less than the average applicant in Harvard unless you show them something else astounding.

Well ya, Harvard isnt looking for perfect ppl!

Very true. My sister got accepted there but chose not to matriculate there.

Unfortunately, she fit the profile of the perfect person:

SAT: 1530 (800V, 730M)
SAT-II: 800 MathIIC/ 800 US Hist/ 800 Writing
Editor in chief for Newspaper, President for Key Club, etc, etc...
Had cancer sophomore year....

She was valedictorian. 4.00 UW.

The fact that he's hispanic doesn't mean that he must be good at
spanish. Your gpa is fine. Just get those SAT2 scores you said, and
get 34+ ACT or 2200+ SAT
