<p>I'm curious to what people put under the optional essays which asked, which books you have read in the last twelve months?</p>
<p>Did you include all books you've read, including school books, or just purely extracurricular pleasure reading?</p>
<p>And how long was your list? I've read, easily about thirty books (I read a lot), does that sound excessive and that someone is just adding books on to look good?</p>

<p>I think "which books you have read in the last twelve months?" is harvard way of saying, write wutever you want my friend.........</p>
<p>you are a impressive reader lol, i read like 2 books for the past 12 combined.......</p>
<p>I would put all books that you've read, for school and for fun.</p>
<p>I did the list as additional info for the Common App, so it got sent to all my schools. I've read around 35-40 books, and I included only those I read for pleasure, rather than school.</p>
