How does this school rank in the world? What are the other top business schools?

Wharton is great to say the least and Trump went there

I've heard very good ratings for Northwestern, Dartmouth and Stanford. Outside the US, INSEAD (in Paris, no idea what that stands for) and London Business also well rated.

The latest rankings (2006-7):

Financial Times (UK):

Wharton

Harvard

Stanford

USNews:

Harvard

Stanford

Wharton

MIT (Sloan), Berkley

I know I have raise this issue before, a while back, but I am not going to give up until I try and recieve some sort of letter -most likely rejection, but ,what that hell, I gotta try anyways.

I am planning to apply for HBS to get my MBA right when I graduate and get my undergraduate degree in Economics/Finance/Chinese.Current GPA 3.67 and in the Honors program.

What I would like to know are:

Recommendation letter, I am planning on having 2 regents professor (Economics, English) and 1 chair (mostly likely in Finance) to write a recommendation letter for my application.

How would studying aboard at Fudan University (tied with #1 ranking university in China, Peking University) make a significance on my application and credentials.

How would Harvard view I compete in Speech and Debate (college level) for 4 years, and I recently competed in AFA-NIET (only top 10% in the nations get to go and compete). Well they take a note of that and like it?

I have kept my need of advice to a minium and I appericate for those of you all taking your time in answering my questions. Mostly, I will be needing some more advice and I will have some more questions to ask in the future. I realize, more than likely, I will be rejected because I have no professional working experience, as most of B-school requires, but I have to at least try in order to stay true to my philoshpy and values. Thanks all.

Truly yours,

HardWork

Why d'you want to go to B-School as soon as you graduate? You'll get way more out of it both in professional development and in terms of enjoyment if you're a bit older. If you go without experience it'll become just another academic qualification, rather than something genuinely practical and rooted in problems you've encoutered

Is just one of my goals I would like to see it happen. I am keeping my options open, and I expect to work professionally before going into B-school, but I would like to achieve much as possible before I graduate to increase my chances. My family is financially challenged, and I would like to elevate my family out of being poor asap and take the advantage of "Low-income" family being able to attend Harvard for free policy. thanks.

Is English your native language btw? you write so formally!

I don't think that "free" policy applies to graduate students.

The top MBA programs take very few students straight from undergrad. If you look up the average age of their entering MBA classes, it's around 27-28.

HardWork-Harvard business school costs nearly $70k/year. They offer limited financial aid (LOTS of loans). If you want to go to Harvard Business school, as well as support your family, try to get a job out of college at a company that will pay for your business school (ex. McKinsey). That way you'll earn a salary from the beginning, increase your chances for HBS, and get HBS for free.
