Believer8: Harvard does not have any business concentrations (majors) in the college.

twinmom:

Believer8: I have no doubt that he will do well and enjoy himself besides!

Thanks twinmom!
By the way, I’m a twin too!

Well, I just joined this site and have found some great info.

My daughter is attending FAP and is Class of 2012.

From Dallas, TX.

Welcome to CC, Beach02!

Please be sure to check out the Harvard parent thread in the main Harvard forum (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/harvard-university/504059-harvard-parent-thread.html).

I Just joined this site and I think there are alot of information here.

I am applying to Harvard but still in high school. I’m graduating next year.

Harvard I think is a very good school but it takes alot

I am the parent of a freshman girl, class of 2012! We are busy getting ready for the BIG MAILING of her ‘stuff’ to Harvard. This group has been a big help..I wanted to say thank you!!!
My job is to somehow talk her out of taking too much.

Hello dogdog12. Congratulations! Yes, I too am hoping my son will be able to minimize what he takes along. We’re 6 hours away by car, so I know he’s going to want to have access to as much of his belongings as possible. In less than 3 weeks from today, we’ll find out how they both fair! Will you be in the yard on move in day?

I have posted on the main Parents Forum, but this is my first time here. My son will be a freshman, Class of 2012. He plans to major in math. The packers came early this week and packed up all his stuff. (Sob!) We leave our home in Asia ( we are expats here) for Boston on Sept. 1. He is so excited–too excited to start writing his Freshman Seminar applications! Are any of you dealing with this, too? Anyway, hope to meet some of you on move-in day!

I’m in the process of working on mine right now. I’m a potential Physics-Math concentrator. Is he applying for Mathematical Problem Solving with Noam Elkies?

White_Rabbit–He is interested in the Elkies seminar but also several others. I think he will probably apply for it, but I’m not sure.

dvk wishing you a safe trip. Harvard Bound !

Thanks, believer8!
