I am an international applicant from Pakistan. I did not get an interview. Does this mean that I have 0.00000000 chance. Secondly wrt to the essay: I accidently wrote a wrong line that belonged above in the passage. Lastly I did not write a good finishing line.

Not to be a complete cynic, but I’m kind of doubting that. They have what are, to be blunt, terrible SAT scores, a very poor GPA, four classes, and no extracurriculars. Not to mention the probably likely misspelling of “undecided” and “guess,” among others. I won’t go out and use that five letter word that we’re not supposed to say, but come on. There’s no way this is real.
Edit: Also, their account is less than an hour old. Not that that means anything…

Welp, deferred applicant here. 
I’ve sorta resigned hope that I’ll get in, but it will be interesting to see how next Tuesday pans out.

@juggu96 of course, not. Ivy leagues try to interview every applicant, and if there is no one available to interview you, or if they are unable to organise one, there’s no problem. Good luck!
Ugh this wait, I just want to sleep for 9 days and wake up when I get my decisions. What do you guys do to pass the time? I’m like stuck in limbo, I’ve been really procrastinating on homework because I can’t stop thinking about my decisions. Why do the Ivies have to release the decisions so late this year…
@wilguen I basically ignore all my responsibilities and check college confidential and my status page every 5 minutes
@wilguen I’m on break right now which means I’m doing absolutely nothing apart from binging on TV shows.
Is anyone awaiting their duke Decisions this Thursday? How about Johns Hopkins on Friday??

Is there anybody here that are outliers in term of stats lol i got a 31 ACT but i think the average ACT is like a 34 praying we get in us lower stat people

My god, the stress is killing me! but no seriously, I’m just waiting for my rejection letter. Just got rejected from UCLA, presumably because my GPA and test scores were too low (3.68 UW, 4.1 W/ 2040 SAT, 31 ACT). I’m hoping Harvard can look past my GPA, and look at my accomplishments instead… :-/
Worst case scenario, I go to University of Oregon and try to aim for HMS!
