Did MIT called your school three weeks before admitted you?

@easycadence I don’t think so, the only cases I’ve heard of universities calling schools directly is with recruited athletes
darn i always read the Harvard Flyby Blog and feel so connected/“in the loop” with Harvard but it just occurred to me that i won’t even know for certain until tuesday if i’m even able to join all its culture! 
This is a little different, but my son received a call from his safety school back in January telling him he was admitted and received an honors scholarship. It was pretty exciting at the time even though it was not a dream school.
I know Georgetown is calling all of its admitted students sometime between this Monday and Wednesday to let them know of their good news (this could because they notify by mail only and it’s hard to know when/if the letter will arrive)
Yes we should meet up! I’ll meet up with you guys in the alternate universe I’m accepted. C^4 for the win!

rejected by MIT, stanford, JHU, Caltech…
been reading all these RD posts since a loooong time…
just came here to say that although i have no chance of an acceptance from harvard, should a miracle happen then count me in on the C^4 :))))
