Harvard Class of 2021 RD Thread

@marlin98 5 PM EST I believe.

Is it bad if you only send 1 SAT subject test?

@johonmilla haha I didn’t send any; they aren’t required so I think it’s fine. A girl from my school got in last year without them.

Neither Harvard, not any colleges in its peer group, has a min/max/quota per HS. If Harvard wants you both, it will accept you both.

Guys, does anyone know if Harvard sends the big acceptance letters to international students? Or is it only for In-state/Americans

I got waitlisted at 4 schools and rejected at 5. The only schools I am waiting on are Harvard, Upenn and Vanderbilt. But I don’t think I have a shot anymore. :slight_smile:

I know the feel @Kimo212

@namelessmonster So sorry you feel this way. I hope you get good news :slight_smile:

@kimo212 I’m in the same boat. Oh well, life isn’t fair.

Something was found in the Yale thread – an admitted students portal (although none of us could log in, so either we are the 93% that got rejected, or it’s inconsequential). I tried Harvard’s – it just redirects me back to the applicant portal if anyone is curious. Someone else should try; maybe it’s just me.

Guys does anyone know whether international students get acceptance letters on the 30th? Or is it only for in-state/Americans

@SteepDrag everyone gets the decision on portal on march 30th, but the packets people receive later

@SteepDrag I don’t think they get letters, but just the decision itself. Perhaps the letter arrives later on, but not on the same day.

@ethanwatson4 So sorry. Hope you get good news :slight_smile:

@CheckMyBrain11 pl post the link

@CheckMyBrain11 what do you mean? What admitted students portal

Guys - being an EA deferred applicant, I know about the admitted student’s portal. On EA decision release, the admitted student portal link appeared on the application status portal and even showed “Welcome to Class of 2021” for several of us who were ultimately deferred or rejected.

I chkd the link
Its redirecting to application portal

I was EA deferred and my application portal looks exactly the same as it has since I sent in my application. The only thing that was different for me was that when decisions were posted on December 13th, I got a link that says that a status update was made on my account on December 13, 2016. That led me to a PDF saying that I got deferred.

I saw that the result is coming out on March 30th, but does anyone know what time?
