@swimmygirl123 5pm EST
UChicago is my 1A choice Harvard is my 1B choice but since I’ve been accepted to Uchicagp already I’ll be one of the 20% who don’t matriculate to Harvard if I get accepted.
@CU123 sounds like this Thursday will be stress-free. That’s an enviable position!
Quick question: when are financial aid decisions sent? Concurrently with admission decisions? Or shortly after that?
@RalphEST concurrently, provided the documents were sent on time.
You are not alone!!!
CU123: My daughter is in the same boat!!!
Has Harvard sent out an email in the past couple of days officially stating that decisions will be released on March 30 at 5PM Eastern? I know other Ivies have sent out the email but I haven’t received one from Harvard and I’m wondering if anyone else has?
H is not known to have sent such notifications
I like how you guys aren’t trying to predict who got into Harvard based on what mails they received. People who applied to UPenn and is present in the UPenn thread, know what I’m talking about :))
Harvard and Yale have not sent them…
@Homeostasis101, yes but if you’ve seen the Yale thread, they are trying to log into the admitted students portal…
I submitted my RD app to Harvard around November 10th and submitted an arts supplement.
According to Youtube’s analytics it got one view on Nov 23 (presumably when they were still going thru EA apps) for 1 minute and 20 seconds (the supplement was 8 minutes total).
Things are looking bleak, but I guess I’ll have to check anyway when the time comes…
Just one question
In my Financial Aid “Tab” (more like section), it says, “If you wish to change your status from ‘not applying for financial aid’ to ‘applying for financial aid’, you will be able to do so through this portal after March 31.”
Why would I change it after March 31?
Wouldn’t it be before?
@800math this means harvard is so generous and need blind that if they accept someone to enter into thr college then no matter what , they dont want to looose that person and definitely not because of aid issues…
@800math - till recently, that section had a “Request change” button. As they are getting ready to release decisions, they have removed that button and replaced with the message. It will allow for admitted people to change their financial aid application status - after the decisions are released.
@USUG21 @MedSciBud Thank you!!!
idk if this has been asked already, but where do we view decisions tomorrow at 5? Do we just log into the applicant site?
@machiavelli1738 - yes, there will either be a “Congratulations” or an “Update” when you login. FYI - it may not be exactly at 5.
okay gotcha @MedSciBud thanks!
