Harvard Class of 2023 RD

I live in a country listed with no interviews but I did get an interview with an alum. I don’t want to get my hopes up but does it mean I am being considered?

Does anyone happen to have an idea as to what time of day we can expect the decisions to be released on March 28th? Thanks and good luck to all

7 pm mostly

I didn’t get an interview either and neither did the other kid from my school who applied. This is strange because my mom cleans the home of an alum who lives about an hour away from my house…

7 pm Eastern, @whatsmypassword?

@Bluemarker An hour away is pretty far. I heard that alums usually interview kids within 30 minutes of drive

@PianoWinterfell I was interviewed in Chicago, which is 3 hours away from me.

Also, @Bluemarker, not all alum are signed up to do applicant interviews. I know several Harvard alum who don’t do interviews…they have to agree to do them, and some are not intetested, too busy etc.

@dairyqueen Really? They matched you with an alum who lives in Chicago??

@PianoWinterfell Yeah. As far as I know, Harvard held their interviews for everyone in Illinois in Chicago, as an event. The alum who interviewed me didn’t email me or anything. I only had contact with the region administrator.
When I arrived I stayed in a waiting room with a couple other kids until they called me down. So I don’t know if I was already assigned to a specific alum or if they just matched us when I got there.

@dairyqueen Oh that’s quite similar to how they do interviews in other countries

What happens when you do this

@PianoWinterfell @dairyqueen @Illuminate27

MIT has a similar link. Its just their policy for easier access to admits.

@alexandra00 Too scared to try

Believe me when I say that Harvard is **very** aware that applicants will try to log in, and no, it won't welcome accepted applicants to the Magic Kingdom before Ivy Day.

I’m able to log in. It just takes me to a home page

@ashley_2023 does it say anything??

Yeah but nothing groundbreaking. It’s just a homepage that gives you the option to visit, apply for aid, etc… @dairyqueen
