It was 6 o’clock when they allegedly called that guy. Maybe it’s true. Maybe it’s not. But I’d read nothing into one post on Reddit.
They have been posting about their college applications and planning for over a year. Being Reddit doesn’t make it somehow less credible. This is as solid as it gets.
If anything, I trust Reddit more than I trust CC
Harvard calls in waves (for the most part) so I’d be a bit skeptical if no one else posts that he or she got in today. Of course, not everyone who gets off the Harvard waitlist posts about it on CC or Reddit.

I’m in!!!
I was called at 3:24 ET, I live in Indiana.
I was deferred EA and then waitlisted, but the office just called me from a 617 area code and said I’ve been offered a spot in the class of 2023, and that I’ll receive official portal confirmation + financial aid tomorrow.

I committed to UVA, then the next day got off the WashU waitlist. Now, I just got into Harvard… it’s been a heckin journey
And the call was about 3 minutes, I was shaking the entire time
