Do you guys think they already filled up all 40 spots? Is everyone else going to get a rejection update tomorrow? Last year, on the same day people got their formal acceptances, many people received rejection letters. There were also reports of a mysterious “Wait List Update” that could not be viewed, and everyone who had it was rejected.
Also, I would not take waitlist decisions personally. I suspect they are trying to fill “holes” in the class. If a ton of CS people accepted, your chances of getting in for that are basically nil. Harvard literally has their pick; if you’re impressive but not what they’re looking for, they won’t hesitate to pass.

I sent in a letter of interest explaining what I’ve done in terms of community service and awards as well as talking a little about my personal life and the changes with that… I also sent in my artwork through slideroom. Last week I got called for a second interview and had the interview Sat. I brought an updated transcript to the admissions officer at the interview but I don’t think it made a difference in the decision.
I think the mysterious updates started showing up on the (equivalent?) of tomorrow. They were dated from May 3rd to May 16th, and they were all un-viewable rejections until, of course, the 16th at 7 PM.

Congrats to all who got off the waitlist!! Will more calls off the waitlist roll out tomorrow or is the first wave just a one day thing? Also when will the first waves of rejections roll in?

I made an account to let you all know that I also got off the waitlist today! They called me at 2:55pm CT. I missed the call, but when I called back they told me the good news!
I just made an account too, since I have been helped by reading other people sharing their info. Got called around 6 today. Off the waitlist for 2023. Good luck everyone!
