when do applicants get notified of a second interview? do people get accepted without having a second interview
people get second interviews?!
for the past 5 years they have released between December 11 and 13 I believe
Second interviews are rare. The vast majority of applicants are accepted without a second interview. Of all the things to stress about, this is not one.
Is there a specific time of the day that the early action decisions are released?
Usually 7 pm ET
Hey! '24 admit here. What kind of second interview did you get?
I got a second Alumni interview, what does that mean?
where are you from? @killerwhale3
Southern California
really, I have not received an interview! Sacramento California.
They needed additional information they didn’t get from the first interview.
It means your app is being looked at seriously and they need some good input from alum interviewers.
Harvard '23 here. 3 friends of mine got a second interview and got in.
Yeah so it usually means they want more information from you! I got a second interview, but from my admissions officer, not an alumni. I’m not sure how much of a difference this makes, but I was eventually admitted REA.
Many colleges will be sending out early action results in December 15. Maybe Harvard will follow suit?
Does Harvard normally announce a date that they will release or is it always uncertain like this?
They announce the date a few days in advance
Do you know what day they released this information (the decision release date) last year? Nervously awaiting a decision.
Last year harvard released it on 12th dec
