I don’t think that’s the case. Multiple people on A2C who were deferred still see the 31st, as well as a user in this thread. So, it doesn’t appear to be an rd/ea thing.
I honestly don’t know what my decision will be. I applied REA but I was deferred, and updated my portal with a few things that might help.
Accepted to UCLA though so very happy about that
Does anyone know when Harvard final committee meetings are held? If they have already made a decision on your application does that suggest you didn’t make it to the final round? Also another theory is anyone who date is April 6th international applicant?
I’m international and was deferred. Mine changed to 6th April quite a while back.
My D was deferred for EA, and the letter in the portal says March 31st for the decision to be announced. Accepted a few WA schools including UW, but rejected by Berkeley today.
Is that possibly an old date? Ivy Day always used to be on it before March 31 but was pushed back this year as you know due to covid. I’d be surprised if she was informed before the RD announcement date of April 6.
Mines is changed to April 6, I’m domestic. Specifically from CA.
can someone who has april 6 screenshot what it looks like
It’s legit identical to yours, just where it says 31st for you it says 6th for us. They are probs just updating by region
it says late march for me still
Mine too, hopefully it’s not a bad sign
honestly i wouldn’t worry about it people always do portal astrology to find ‘indicators’ before the decision date haha
Lol I was skeptical about indicators until Berkeley indicators ended up being correct yesterday. I was admitted
congrats!! berkeley is an amazing school
Thank you! I found it crazy that Berkeley had an indicator in their portal that people identified easily
My son applied RD
Showing a late March result…
That’s what the portal has said all along, however, they emailed some time ago to say April 6. Also when you click on ‘Full Application Timeline’ you see this
did you apply regular decision or early action
Regular Decision
