I’ll also attach this link regarding that data about who is making up Harvards student body. Especially the financial aspect. To say it isn’t important is troubling. The data just doesn’t support that. But then again, no place is perfect, but let’s not ignore the change that is still needed!
I’ll attach this NYT article that also indicates that Harvard accepts the most underserved students, when compared to other ivy leagues, as well for those wandering. Note some of the other stats. Data is important!
Yeah I think it took quite a while for them to process them, over a week after I uploaded my docs, maybe because I’m Canadian or that I did it two weeks after the deadline.
It seems like December 17th is practically confirmed at this point, given that it was reported on InGenius Prep’s website and tons of applicants have called the admissions office over the past two weeks to ask, according to Reddit and this thread. It is my understanding that Harvard is still interviewing a few applicants and the committee hasn’t met to decide on some applicants too, so I’d give it a 90% chance that decisions will be out on the 17th.
I saw it on InGenius Prep, Reddit (many times), and on Harvard threads on College Confidential. If people are calling the admissions office and they’re saying December 17th then it’s probably the 17th. There may be a small chance that decisions are released on the 15th though.
This is all speculation, however so don’t take my word for it 100%.
I didn’t submit SATs - And for me I think it’s founding 3 companies and one female entrepreneurship community with 1000+ women in a culture where gender norms play a huge role (womens studies major)
