Hi!!!

This is a question coming right out of a prospective applicant's mouth who is terribly late for sending his application. Harvard mentions that the FINAL deadline is 1 January , 2010. I know this sounds inane but is 1 January, 2010 included in the timeline? Or is 31, December 2009 the last day?

Sorry for the juvenile question but I am an international applicant. I hope you guys understand.

Thanks for lending a helping hand!

Harvard17

submit everything ON OR BEFORE 1 JAN 2010

Be careful though. Common app server is gonna explode around that time

The Common App server undoubtedly will fail around 11 p.m. Dec. 31. Harvard adcoms will watch this board to see who panics. Those applicants will be rejected because they were disorganized, lack emotional stability, and didn’t worship Harvard enough to make the earlier deadline that the admission office gods had suggested. The Harvard adcoms hate students who lack the perspicacity to realize that suggestions from Harvard really are politely stated demands.

Howling with derisive laughter Harvard adcoms also will shred any applications that arrive even one minute after the deadline. This includes applications from war torn countries where the mail is sent by carrier snail.

If you now are shaking in your boots, you are not Harvard material, and should stop working on your Harvard app because you have no chance of admittance. Resign yourself to attending your local community college.

If you have merrily laughed through this post because you realize that even if your app is a week late, you’re such an amazing applicant that you’ll likely get in, prepare to receive a letter from Harvard April 1 that will permanently change your life. guaranteeing you’ll eventually be a billionaire, Nobel Prize winner, and a household name around the globe.

^ that was amajing. haha
