Harvard didn't get the teacher recs (so they say)

<p>Hi.I've sent my commonapp to brown, yale and harvard. I've check my application status on both Brown and Harvard (Yale is still silent, dunno why) and both say the same thing:</p>

<p>app - check, supplement - check, reports - check, RECOMMENDATIONS - NOT RECEIVED</p>

<p>which is a bit odd as both recs were sent online almost the same day as the report and application itself. i've seen that many Yale applicants have the same issue.</p>

<p>Is this a common app thing? what should I do?</p>

<p>You should call Harvard and ask what they want you to do. Recommendations do sometimes go astray. When my son applied to colleges two years ago, all his recommendations made it to their destinations except one to Caltech. They asked the teacher to fax a replacement, but Harvard may have a different preferred procedure.</p>
