How certain are you that the date is Dec 10? I thought that it was Dec 15.

Now that I have submitted my application, I check this site everyday. I can't get Harvard off my mind. How is everyone dealing with the stress?

collegeperson, i cant stop thinking about harvard. i think about it at least once every 3 minutes. when i close my eyes, all i can see is harvard. i cant sleep. i just read stuff about harvard until early morning until i fall sleep before getting up for school. it's pretty bad

Obsessing over Harvard will just make me more devastated when I get rejected, but I can't stop thinking about it.

well, there are a few ways to help relieve the stress.
1) world of warcraft open beta
2) half life 2
3) vampire bloodlines

it helps.

hey, i applied to harvard early. stats are posted elsewhere, but 1520 SAT, 800 writing, 770 math 780 math II, 790 us hist(i think those are the appx SAT II scores, none are lower than 770) and i'm too lazy to go back and check. my class rank is 42/697 but i've played in carnegie hall, played at invitationals in poland and czech rep. and in houston's jones hall. so that's my hook-piano. my AI is like 220 or something like that. my intended major is american history/career=business

can somebody post the new roster w/the new countdown?

i had nightmares about Harvard rejection letters yesterday. they're probably offering me a sneak-peak at reality...

Whoa 22 days seems so awfully close.

In 22 days, our lives will be changed forever.

Our dreams will either be happily fulfilled or cruelly dashed to shreds.

soo many 9s

But Davidrune, you must remember that you HAVE to take the AI with a grain of salt. For example, since my school does not rank, my AI goes up through the roof compared to someone who comes to a school that ranks their kids.

go crimson!

mechanical engineering, 8-227

21 days left

Aren't November SAT's great. Change my AI from 232 to 235. My Verbal score went up 70 points. My AI went up 3. There are 10 letters in my name. And we find out in 21 days: (70*3)/10=21 -- It's an omen. I'm in for sure.

oh wow...only 21 days!? Ok, now I'm really stressing. I love the school to distraction, but I'm not going to base my life on it, because my chances of getting in aren't anywhere near solid...

What is the general rule for how 'significant' is time you spent on something? Or what to put in additional information? For instance, I thought of putting something about being a two-time blood donor, but didn't because it doesn't take time, but I think shelving books and some other volunteer work is much easier (since I passed out the last time I donated blood), and doesn't have as far-reaching effects. Is it dumb for even thinking of putting that down? I can supposedly save up to 6 lives so far, which would be really neat. Or they could have decided that my blood was weird and just didn't tell me.

ok, that's my silly question/deviation for the day.

do u guys know the num of harvard ea this year? pton and yale released theirs. 2000 and 4000.

Believe it's right around 4200, according to another thread.

4165 exactly
