Harvard EA

Is it true that when it comes down to it, Harvard EA is virtually impossible for a student from Canada? I mean, I'm good, but I wouldn't say I'm Canada's top scholar. I AM good in that I am one of the top 5-10% of scholars, but there are rumours here and there about how Harvard EA is already competitive for American students, and virtually impossible for Canadian (or other international) students.

How true is this statement? Harvard has been my dream since I was like 6 (purely for the name) but after Grade 10, I did research in to Harvard's programs and it really is the school of my choice. I'm so absolutely convicted to go to Harvard, but rather subdued because of these rumours.

Any input would be appreciated!

I suggest you go over to the Harvard CC board and ask the same question. They might be more knowledgeable. Here's the link:

By the way, you should post your SAT scores, GPA, class rank, etc. You'll get a more informed response that way.

Hmm I guess you're right, Suze. It was pretty presumptuous for me to claim that. If you've seen my stats, then perhaps you could chance me for Harvard RD or Yale RD.
