Harvard Econ vs. Wharton

I'm still in shock over the fact that I got into both, but the thing now is which one I want to go to. The biggest deciding factor right now would be which program would get me into a JD/MBA program at either Wharton/Penn Law or HBS/Harvard Law for grad school.

Can anyone tell me prospects and pros and cons of going to Harvard vs. to Wharton with respect to my goal or really anything in general?

Come on! Anyone from Harvard to chime in on this? The Penn people have already hit this so hard that only King Arthur can pry it out.

Um.. might get nailed for this but, I think it depends where you're wanting to go with it? To say nothing of aid packages... overall experience etc.

As Wharton is generally considered the top business program, while Harvard Law trumps Penns quite handily I believe

wharton is the only undergrad that offers a business school.

Harvard's econ is not the same.

alayshere: that's patently untrue (regarding wharton being the only undergrad business school). lots of schools have undergrad business programs.

^ oh i'm sorry, what I meant to say was within the Ivy league schools.

and you are right..there are many business schools

it's actually not true even within the Ivy league - Cornell has the Johnson School. However, Wharton is definitely by far the best.
