<p>HARVARD CAPTAIN SUSPENDED The captain of the Harvard football team was indefinitely suspended and could be kicked off the team after he was accused of breaking into his former girlfriend's dormitory room and assaulting her.</p>

<p>Matt Thomas, a 22-year-old senior linebacker, faces charges after his arrest June 5, including assault and battery and domestic abuse.</p>

<p>Witnesses said they saw Thomas choke the woman with one hand before "he suddenly lifted her and drove his knee into her chest," Harvard police said. (AP)</p>
