Has anyone here attend Harvard Graduate School of Design? Although there is still a far way to go for me, but my goal is get my ph.D degree there and become a professor there as well as a famous architect. I want to know what kind of preparation I need to have after graduate from an architecture school with B.Arch.

I have a couple of friends there at the GSD, and I completed my undergrad at Barnard/Columbia's Architecture program. I'm probably going to the Princeton's Masters of Arch Program...however, I'm currently at The Bartlett, and would highly NOT suggest it, maybe it's b/c of the experience I'm having, that's also probably why I've applied to transfer out of here. Anyhow, good luck, and I would suggest looking into where you'd like to be in before applying, and researching on the faculty before applying, b/c every year they change, and the professor you might want to take the course with might not be there. Good luck!

if you don't mind me asking what dont you like about barttlet? and what do you know of any of the other graduate programs in the UK and europe. I am an undergraduate in architecture now but am interested learning about different graduate programs.

yes, adoptme, I'd also like to know why you don't like the Bartlett (esp considering that I'll be studying there for a year haha)

Do you realize that this post is 3 years old and unlikely to be seen by the OP or other previous posters? Not trying to be nasty, just thought I'd point that out since the thread title caught my eye.

The OP seems to be active in the forums (from his posts list)--he might get a kick out of people giving him such over-due advice :)
