Harvard help for ecs

im a freshman in hs and am #1 in my class . I was wondering what extra curricular activities would stand out on my application as well as any other tips on how to go about my hs career in order for my acceptance into harvard. I enjoy law and math and biology.

What will stand out is not so much a long laundry list of activities as excellence in one or a few pursuits. Excellence could take the form of outstanding skill (demonstrated by competition and awards at a regional or national level). With or without that, Harvard probably will want to see some evidence of leadership and initiative. The pursuits could be in any number of areas (music, sports, science, community organizing, etc.) You have to discover in yourself what you want to do and the kind of leader you would want to be.
