Harvard International Interview

Hey Guys,

Has any international student had an adcom interview with Harvard for ED, yet?
If yes, when did you apply to Harvard? How did the interview go?
if you’ve been accepted in the previous years, what was the decision?

Thanks.

All admitted students at Harvard receive an interview at some point. For international applicants the interview can take one of the three forms: a. with a local alum either in person or via Skype; b. in rare cases with an AO via Skype, which is a good sign for admission; c. with a contracted third party who conducts interviews in person or via Skype on Harvard Admissions’ behalf. Since Harvard has to pay for the third party service, its also rare, typically done for admitted students.

Thank you for your response to my thread.
Harvard has stated that if they have any questions from my application they’ll give me an AO interview because of my country.
I wanted to know how much I should wait for receiving an interview.

I imagine majority of international applicants will not have an interview, neither does Harvard guarantee one. But AOs won’t be done with their decisions till mid March, so until then there is always hope.
