<p>I just had my Harvard interview and (idk if he was supposed to tell me this) my interviewer said the admissions officer for my region contacted him to interview me specifically. There are several other applicants in my region but I was the only one who got this sort of request. Have you heard of this happening before? Does this mean my chances of getting in are pretty good?</p>
<p>Yes it occurs occasionally for my alma mater as well. The fact is your file is under close scrutiny right now. You’re on the edge one way or another – there’s no other way to state it. H admissions wants more confirmatory info (the interview) in order to decide. Some people there definitely want you. Will their voice carry the day? Will there be enough slots available?</p>
