Harvard interview mit cross registration

One of the things that is most appealing to me at Harvard is the ability to cross register at MIT. I have the Harvard interview today. If one of the questions he asks is “why do you want to attend”, should I mention this cross registration? I’m afraid it will make him think that I am more interested in mit and just using Harvard as a way to get to mit.

If the question comes up, hopefully your interviewer will bring you up to speed. Although cross registration is a nice idea in theory, very few students actually do it. That’s because college classes are scheduled in blocks of time with 10 minutes between classes. Unless you plan to take a taxi between campuses, MIT is a 20 to 30 minute commute from Harvard Yard by subway. So it’s often impossible to create a schedule that’s workable. In addition, MIT and Harvard are not on the same academic schedule, so vacation breaks and exam periods are not the same.

Oh ok, I didn’t really know much about it tbh. I guess it’s something I’ll work out later if I get accepted and choose to do it. I probably won’t mention it because I don’t know much about it. Thanks!
