My daughter did not think her interview went well at all. She felt that she had nothing in common with her interviewer. When we chatted with her admissions officer at Accepted Students Weekend, he mentioned that her interview was terrific. We both most have looked startled because he quickly asked her if she thought it had gone poorly. She said yes (didn't much matter at that point as she was in) and he laughed. He said that lots of people think that and they are off mark. She had received an excellent report from her interviewer.

fauve, you're wrong...when you submit your app only controls the TIME you get an interview. I submitted mine in late december and got an interview in early january. I know people who submitted theirs in late september and got interviews 2 weeks later.

Thank you aznprincess525, thank you all...

twinmom,

same as my son. He came out to the car where I was waiting for him and he said "forget Harvardd, that sucked". at the accepted students reception his interviewer also said he was quite impressed with my son's interview. funny, how those things work.

p.s. my son LOVES harvard!
