harvard interview

i applied EA for harvard, but i havent been contacted by them yet. btw, that IS what i'm supposed to do, right? wait for them to contact me? but i saw that a lot of people on cc already had interviews for harvard. should i contact harvard?

and does anyone have helpful tips on interviews? i've never done an interview, and the thought of interviews makes me really nervous.

thanks!

you should contact them now. It's getting kind of late.

very very late

i havent been contacted yet either.

but they lost my application and then found the missing pages a couple weeks later... so maybe i'm an exception b/c of all this confusion w/ my app?

I actually called them about the interview in October and they said to call Harvard if no one had contacted you by Nov 15

oh my..
nov 15? it's not THAT much past, righttt
so i guess i'll call tomorrow

anyone have any tips on interviews?

thanks for your replies everyone!

oh i just found out that because i live in a hurricane-affected area, there arent enough interviewers. soo.. i wont be having an interview

... is that a bad thing?

It's a neutral thing. Presumably all of the Harvard applicants in his area are in that situation. Lack of an interview won't count against them since Harvard likes geographic diversity and therefore won't eliminate applicants from a region because of a lack of interviewers.

oh ok, thanks for your replies everyone!
i think i'm rather relieved that it's neutral, heh

I called the admissions office yesterday, who told me to contact my regional interview organizer. I called him, and he said they were going to contact me within the next few days. So, don't worry if you still haven't had an interview.
