Harvard Interview

How long does it take usually for them to contact you? Just wondering.

Same question. :) If they don't contact me by like, February, should I consider contacting them?

the interviews have to go through a lot of steps: alumni network, then to the alum interviewers. my cousin is an alum interviewer and she hasn't heard anything about who she'll be interviewing. don't worry about it.

I just had my interview today, and I submitted my application/interview request on December 10th. I think that they normally don't contact applicants that quickly, it could have been that I was one of the first people from my area to submit an application. I would call at the beginning of February if no one has contacted you. If you requested one and they don't get to you, however, they cannot hold it against you (the interview isn't a big part of the application, anyways).

I submitted my application and supplement on November 27th, and my interviewer contacted me on the 8th of this month. I had my interview today :).

I got contacted really soon after submitting, but still haven't set up a meeting with my interviewer yet.

What type of questions did the Harvard Interview ask? Just wondering, I have mine in a couple of days.

Thanks!

^^ the standard stuff. my interviewer didn't throw me anything too out-there questions. It was really relaxed; he shared his stories with me, and I shared my stories with him. It felt like I was talking with a friend (but with a better vocabulary)

Does Harvard offer on-campus interviews? I looked on their website but I just can't find anything (the only thing there is about INTERNATIONAL students and their interviews). Also, if I interview on campus does that mean I don't get an alumni interview (or decrease the chances of obtaining an alumni interview?)

Thanks in advance

I had my interview one week ago. I submitted my application in early November. The interview lasted about 45 minutes and it was a little strange. Interviewer was nice, but asked some weird questions like, "What kind of a gala?"

i sent my app in on november 30, but I haven't heard anything from them yet

Has anyone had an interview where there was more than one alum interviewing you?

I sent my app in November 24th, and still haven't heard anything yet. Maybe it's because I'm in Canada, and not in either Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal?

lol, just out of curiosity if your parent is the only alum in the country do you get interviewed by your parents ? Or alternatively of the only Alum interviewer is a close family friend would you get interviewed by them ?
